Peg Loom Rugs
Categories: 3 Bags Full | Eco Home
These small rugs are woven in Wales on a simple and traditional peg loom which allows the wool to be used as unspun fleece to produce a really thick, cosy rug. The wool is locally shorn and mainly from small flocks of rare breed sheep. Every rug is different, using the natural variations in the colours and textures of the individual breeds. Any dyed wool is coloured using natural plant materials such as onion skins. Sizes vary from about 50cm x 80cm upwards.
