Child's Natural Mattress

We only use natural and organic materials for our cot mattresses, and have done since 1990. A core of organic coconut fibre (coir) coated with organic latex is wrapped in organic British wool and covered with tough organic cotton fabric. The coir-latex gives a springy support that helps to ventilate the mattress. The wool gives a cosy comfort layer that has excellent moisture absorption and breathability to help temperature regulation and make sure your baby sleeps safely and soundly without overheating. The wool, coir and latex are naturally dust-mite resistant and a removable cotton cover can be added that can be washed at 60 degrees. The wool is also naturally fire retardant which means that, as with all our mattresses, there are no added fire retardent chemicals. Our mattresses conform to strict British Standards BS 7177 and BS 5852 Part 1 & 2 for fire safety.
We make these mattresses in our workshop in Welshpool and are happy to make up other sizes or thickness, just ask us for details.
