I was struck by the beauty of this fabric and the serene pose
of the woman wearing it.

Check out the 10:10 Lighter Later campaign to give us an
hour’s more sunlight in the evenings.
We have these fab woolly socks in our shop now, so of course I
had to try them out at home. They are knitted in Devon from organic
merino wool to a traditional Icelandic snow-flakey sort of pattern. I
think they look a bit festive without shouting about which actual
festival that might be. Wool is wonderful for all sorts of reasons,
in this case I’m taking advantage of its fire retardant properties as
our stove gets pretty hot. Warming them first is a bit of a luxury
but hard to beat when you left your boots outside and they need some
serious defrosting…
